We provided matching funds for the first five regions that raised $5,000, resulting in a total of $25,000 in grants being awarded.<\/p>\n<p>Since our inception, we have successfully awarded 23 grants to NYSVMS member veterinarians who utilize the funds to provide necessary veterinary care for animals whose owners are facing financial difficulties.<\/p>\n<p>You can read more about how we used the funds at <a href=\"https:\/\/nysvms.org\/vetcarefund\">nysvms.org\/vetcarefund<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>$25,000 in regional grants for 2025<\/h2>\n<p>NYSVMS Foundation will match donations made to the Veterinary Care Fund between April 15 and Sep 30<\/p>\n<p>Donations to the statewide Fund or regional Funds will be matched 1:1, up to $25,000 in total. Only new funds qualify, not contributions from existing regional funds. We\u2019ve been pleasantly surprised by the people who will make significant donations, given the opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>Through you, our members, we have a connection to most of the pet owners in New York.
