Brunswick Veterinary Hospital in Troy had a table set up during their open house to advertise the Veterinary Care Fund. Included on the table were some flyers in stands that showed information about the fund and the QR code. They also displayed pictures of the pets, and a write up for the two medical cases they have used funds for.\u00a0 Attendees could donate directly, and there were also giveaways (baskets of dog toys, beach day bag, dinner\u00a0cruise tickets, etc.) that were all donated by various reps that people could purchase raffle tickets for. In addition, there was a 50\/50 raffle and one of the doctors sold some cute crochet\u00a0animals with money going to the fund.<\/p>\n
Donations were close to $1,000 and were matched 1:1 by the New York State Veterinary Care Fund<\/p>\n
