About the Capitaland Animal Hospital, Latham New York campaign

At Capitaland Animal Hospital, we deeply understand and value
the well-being of the animals that come to us for treatment. We
are committed to helping owners who are facing financial
difficulties by offering alternate treatment plans whenever
possible.  Sometimes there is no easy way to reduce the cost of
needed care, and we recognize that many families go through
challenging periods where they may struggle to afford critical
care for their beloved pets.

However, it’s important to note that our ability to reduce
the cost of care has its limits.

But you can make a difference in keeping more pets alive and
healthy! Your financial support will directly benefit the
Capital District Veterinary Medical Society’s Veterinary Care
Fund, which provides grants to our practice. These grants help
us deliver essential care to animals whose owners are unable to
cover the costs. By contributing, you’re making a significant
impact on the well-being of animals and their loving owners in
your own community.

Help us provide veterinary care for animals in need

Every day veterinarians across the Capital District of NY see pet owners who are experiencing financial obstacles to getting their pets necessary veterinary care. As a result, these individuals and families may be facing extremely difficult, even unbearable, decisions.

We’re local veterinarians working in the community

The Capital District Veterinary Medical Association is a professional association serving veterinarians in the Capital District, NY. With around 200 member veterinarians, our goal is to enhance animal health and welfare within the community.

We could help so many more animals with your help

Veterinarians generously give back to their communities with time and services to help provide care for animals in need, but more assistance is required. You can support these efforts by making a generous donation to the Capital District Veterinary Care Fund. Your contribution will fund grants for our member veterinarians, helping them to provide needed veterinary care for animals whose owners would otherwise not be able to afford it.
