When you work in veterinary medicine-you can see the human bond in many forms. Even a young adult can rely on the friendship of a Bearded Dragon as they transition from childhood to adulthood. This time frame is where many people are torn between care and finances.

Pets provide a service for us. They act as our emotional and often physical support. As people age, resources become limited and many humans are just one illness from bankruptcy. To know that we can preserve the health of their pet without further stress to their finances is a huge win!

Help us provide veterinary care for animals in need

Every day veterinarians across the Hudson Valley see pet owners who are experiencing financial obstacles to getting their pets necessary veterinary care. As a result, these individuals and families may be facing extremely difficult, even unbearable, decisions.

We're local veterinarians working in the community

The Hudson Valley Veterinary Medical Society is a professional association serving veterinarians in the Hudson Valley, NY. With around 200 member veterinarians, our goal is to enhance animal health and welfare within the community.

We could help so many more animals with your help

Veterinarians generously give back to their communities with time and services to help provide care for animals in need, but more assistance is required. You can support these efforts by making a generous donation to the Hudson Valley Veterinary Care Fund. Your contribution will fund grants for our member veterinarians, helping them to provide needed veterinary care for animals whose owners would otherwise not be able to afford it.
