Help us provide veterinary care for animals in need

Every day veterinarians across the Southern Tier of NY see pet owners who are experiencing financial obstacles to getting their pets necessary veterinary care. As a result, these individuals and families may be facing extremely difficult, even unbearable, decisions.

We're local veterinarians working in the community

The Southern Tier Veterinary Medical Association is a professional association serving veterinarians in the Southern Tier, NY. With around 200 member veterinarians, our goal is to enhance animal health and welfare within the community.

We could help so many more animals with your help

Veterinarians generously give back to their communities with time and services to help provide care for animals in need, but more assistance is required. You can support these efforts by making a generous donation to the Southern Tier Veterinary Care Fund. Your contribution will fund grants for our member veterinarians, helping them to provide needed veterinary care for animals whose owners would otherwise not be able to afford it.

Layla was the toughest little girl who defied all odds and just lived her best life right till the end. We will all miss her presence, but know her spirit will live on in all who she touched.

You were my steady companion through school, far too many moves, getting married, my first real job and human child. You will always hold a special place in my heart and I miss our hikes, your daily "smiles", and all of your naughty hijinks.

Thelma was a very sweet patient who touched everyone who worked with her. She was clearly loved by her family and we know she will be deeply missed. We feel honored to have been entrusted with her care and had the opportunity to get to know her.

Oh Lynnie and Matt, how you have loved every dog like they are the world's best dog -- even Pickles the tiny terrorist who ate your crucifix and subjected you to his every whim. The world is a little less interesting without him in it.

You were small and spicy and we hoped you would live forever, our tiny resource-guarding princess of the picnic. Be sure to tell Pez and Beanie we love them too.
