Help us provide veterinary care for animals in need
Every day veterinarians across New York State see owners who are experiencing financial obstacles to getting their animals necessary veterinary care. As a result, these individuals and families may be facing extremely difficult, even unbearable, decisions.
We're your local veterinarians working in the community
The New York State Veterinary Medical Society is a professional association serving veterinarians in the whole State of New York. With around 2400 member veterinarians, our mission is to enhance animal health and welfare within the community. We serve local communities through 12 affiliated regional associations.
We could help so many more animals with your help
Veterinarians generously give back to their communities with time and services to help provide care for animals in need, but more assistance is required. You can support these efforts by donating to the New York State Veterinary Care Fund. Your contribution will fund grants for our member veterinarians, helping them to provide needed veterinary care for animals whose owners would otherwise not be able to afford it.
