VetTech Forward NY

Veterinary Technician shortages are the #1 concern of NYSVMS members

VetTech Forward New York is a statewide initiative of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society to strengthen and grow New York’s veterinary technician workforce. Through coordinated efforts to recruit new talent, support students entering the profession, and promote long-term career satisfaction, VetTech Forward NY aims to ensure that veterinary practices across the state have the skilled Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) they need to provide exceptional care for animals and the people who love them. By partnering with schools, veterinary practices, and industry leaders, the initiative is building a stronger, more sustainable future for veterinary technology in New York.
