She attended Bates College in Maine and graduated magna cum laude with a double major in English and Biology before matriculating at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After obtaining her DVM degree in 2020, she completed a rotating internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC. Following her internship, she returned to Cornell and completed a residency in anesthesiology and pain medicine in July 2024. Dr. Cannarozzo will sit for her specialty board examination with the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia in the summer of 2025.  Dr. Cannarozzo’s areas of clinical interest include regional anesthesia, intraoperative hemodynamic monitoring and management, and post-anesthesia recovery. Anesthesia is one of the most vulnerable times in a patient’s life. She enjoys being an anesthesiologist so she can serve as an advocate for her patients while maintaining intraprocedural comfort and stability. Dr. Cannarozzo has published several peer-reviewed manuscripts and was awarded the 2023 ACVAA Resident Abstract Award for outstanding small animal research abstract presentation at the 2023 ACVS conference.
