Central NY VMA and the Academy of Veterinary Medicine
Community and Connection
We serve veterinarians in Cayuga, Onondaga, Oswego, Madison, Oneida Jefferson, Lewis and Herkimer counties in New York. Our Academy of Continuing Education provides local CE programs and opportunities to get connected with your colleagues in the local community.
The Academy holds a series of CE sessions throughout the year, usually at the Doubletree Hotel in Syracuse. The meetings are free to members of the Academy and dinner is provided.

Dr. Lonnie Kasman in Guatemala
eDr. Lonnie Kasman sent us a brief video highlighting his volunteer work in Guatamala where he performed 48 spay/neuters. He wrote to us to say "Our amazing team did a total of 115 ( with no electric for 36 hours!) Shout out to my amazing colleagues from Canada, Chile, Guatemala and NY!" Dr. Kasman is an NYSVMS and Hudson Valley VMS member, and went to Guatemala with Veterinarians International. Watch the video below:
